Trailer Trash! "Erinsborough News", BBCi, 9th February 2005
Ramsay Street is under threat from a one-woman trailer trash army - Stingray's mum, Janelle Timmins.
Janelle rolls up to the street in a caravan, sporting a foul mouth, tight clothes, and a neck brace.
Ben Nicholas, who plays Stingray, said his character's mum symbolises the family he left back in Colac.
"She's a Timmins, she's always taking, she never gives, she never thinks of anyone but herself, she a bludger, a bogan," Ben said. (Bogan is an Australian word signifying that someone is backward, coarse or unsophisticated, like trailer trash.)
"She's unfair and unreasonable, she arrives in town with a neck brace and everyone thinks she's faking due to her past history of being a bludger. But I think maybe her past will catch up with her pretty soon."
Stingray's mum is played by actor Nell Fenney.
