Stingray demanded to be put back on medication for his ADHD after last week's nightmare chain of events.
Ben Nicholas, who plays Stingray Timmins, explained his character's decision.
"Stingray was on medication in Colac and he wants to go back on it because he's just done something really stupid. After he lost Maddy he stole David's car, and he reckons that someone could get hurt if he doesn't sort himself out. He wants to be better and so people know he's trying," Ben said.
"Stingray doesn't really know what's going on - he thinks he's cool and that everyone else likes it when he's on medication. He doesn't realise that Boyd and everyone miss the old Stingray."
Stingray doesn't seem to notice that his girlfriend Serena is treating him differently and putting some distance between them.
"In Serena's mind she's trying to work things out with Stingray and things aren't working. He thinks he's being the perfect guy for her but she misses the old Stingray," Ben explained.
"I think he's pretty impulsive with whatever he does - the first thing he decides, he'll do. So when he decides to go on medication, that's what he does, and no-one can change his mind. Maybe he needs to think about it a bit more."
